Things You May Need Before Starting HCG Protocol

I'm starting my 2nd round next week, and thought it would be a good idea to list some things that you may want to have on hand when you start:

  • Mineral Oil and Vaseline (body/hair products that won't absorb)
  • Stevia-- You will need this natural sugar substitute to sweeten your tea, lemonade, and in some fruit recipes
  • Bag of Lemons-- I don't know what I would have done without my fresh lemonade :)
  • Sandwich bags or freezer bags.  I pre-portioned my proteins and threw in the freezer for convenience.
  • Potassium Supplement -- prevents or stops muscle cramps
  • Crushed tomatoes -- I used them in some recipes as my tomato portion
  • Organic Chicken broth --not on protocol, but I used it sparingly in come recipes and to steam some of the veges
  • Variety of teas-- this protocol diet can get boring, so variety in whatever we can have is welcomed!S
  • Scale and measuring tape. Track that progress!
Can't think of anything else right now, but if I think of something else, I'll add it.
